education for all

I'm excited to be part of this discussion and hope to learn and share my experiences and interests in the field of education. I am interested in learning more about the policy implications as they pertain to Latina/o children in the U.S. I hope to have rich, in-depth discussions that are respectful and relevant to what we can do to make education for all equal and attainable.

College Wait Lists....

The month of May is when many students entering colleges and universities attempt to decide which school is the best for them... or which is the most prestigious... or which is the best value for their $.... so now students seem to have to worry about whether or not their going to get off the waiting list of their first choice or not... especially since this year has had a lot of coverage as to being the most difficult year in terms of competition..

well we'll see soon enough how things will turn out... at least in terms of the waitlists...

Welcome

This blog will serve to discuss many issues in education, including those that involve learning English as a second language. Although many may think that education is a narrow topic it encompasses many subtopics, including that of division levels (pre-k, k-12, higher education) and everything else in the world (economics, immigration, etc.). Education is the fundamental base of most societies and some are being deprived of obtaining it. That is why it should be discussed throughly to educate those that do not quite understand the importance of education.

All discussions are welcome.
